Bridging the Gap in Healthcare and Wellness

Bridging the Gap in Healthcare and Wellness

Part of my work is bridging the many gaps in the currrent paradigm of wellness.

Firstly the relationship between modern medicine and traditional or holistic healing practices is filled with wisdom that can be integrated into any program of treatment. Acknowledging the adjunct capacity for whole self improvement and how it impacts the overall condition of stakeholders is paramount.

Secondly, I often encounter people who have lost faith in the healthcare system completely. Many times this is at the expense of health complications. My work is twofold. First I provide insight into the healthcare system and work with people individually on navigating, advocating, and planning for challenging appointments and procedures. Alternatively I make it a point to have difficult discussions with healthcare professionals revolving around how we as clinicians can help restore trust and operate from trauma informed, whole person perspective.

By bringing different perspectives together, we can create a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. My role is as a facilitator in this process, working to bring individuals and healing systems together to create a powerful, inclusive, comprehensive model of care. My clients are empowered to live their best life knowing they are inherently valuable, supported, and capable of achieving whole person wellness.
